About List-u-Like
Version 1.0 by brothercake
List-u-Like is written and maintained by brothercake, a web-developer based in the UK. The CSS-generating algorithms were originally developed for Ultimate Drop Down Menu, the world's first fully-featured and accessible website menu.
Browser support
The generated CSS has been rigorously tested, both in development and in practise, and is known to work in the following browsers - creating an identical or near-identical appearance:
- Opera 5 or later, for Windows, Mac and Linux
- Mozilla Gecko browsers (such as Firefox, Camino and Netscape), for Windows, Mac and Linux
- Safari and OmniWeb 4.5 or later, for Mac OS X
- Konqueror 2.2 or later, for Linux/KDE
- Internet Explorer 5 and 6, for Windows and Mac
The output code is also box-model resistant, so the navbar and link dimensions come out the same irrespective of rendering mode.
The generator program itself works in Opera 7+, Mozilla, Safari, Konqueror, and Internet Explorer 5.5 or later (not IE5.0, nor IE5 for Mac). The core functionality is not reliant on javascript.
But the widest range of features is available in Opera 7+ and recent Mozilla browsers with scripting enabled.
